Simple & Functional Modern Architecture

From the very beginning, this custom-built home was unique. Standing as a testament to the transformative power of blending architectural styles, Warrawee House is an ingenious fusion of modern design and Georgian style.

Chateau Architects + Builders were commissioned by a family who had a clear vision for their dream home. This project required an adept mastery of design in order to merge the Georgian architectural style, known for symmetrical lines and classic ornamentation, with contemporary design elements. The result is a celebration of past and present, integrating elegant Georgian design with the simplicity and functionality of modern architecture.

Warrawee House was completed by our expert team in 2013, representing a seamless blend of the old and the new. The design and construction journey wasn’t without its unique challenges, with the site posing certain limitations that truly tested the creativity and technical skills of our designers and builders. With a rich array of skills and experiences to draw on, we were able to meet these challenges with full creative force, stopping at nothing to bring our client’s dream home to life.

The fruit of our labour is clear in breathtaking finishes and design aesthetics. The kitchen is replete with a statement marble island, while the outdoor space harmoniously blends a sprawling pool with an inviting entertaining deck, complete with wood-fired pizza oven and barbecue.

Light plays a key role in the property, with oversized windows and doors working to connect the interior and the exterior through thoughtful and strategic design choices.
