It's always an exciting part of the process when work moves from the inside - out as we see here with 'Mosman House'. As award winning custom home builders Chateau Architects + Builders ensure full synthesis in our design, including special elements such as cedar.
The picture below shows the steel preparation of the driveway to be poured concrete. This will be tiled at the end of the project.
Notice the beautiful elements of cedar timber as a feature and contrast.
View from the street: This image shows the near completed garaged, from wall area.
With a fresh and finished coat to the walls, the exterior is looking good.
This image also shows the curved underside of the pedestrian roof. Aluminum powder-coated sheeting was selected for ease of cleaning, and also to reduce ongoing maintenance i.e. painting in years to come which was required given the difficult access.
To compliment the curve to the home roof, the cover to the pedestrian entry, the soffit (underside) is also curved, and the roofs to this area are also zinc to match the house.
Also steel blades were installed to accommodate the cedar timber feature - the final element and addition.
The luxury pool is also coming along. In this shot we see the painter preparing for the final coat to the rendered and tiered walls.
The garage walls and roof go up fast! Here we see core filled concrete blockwalls, and structural roof timbers.
